Program Description:

This study center program is designed to build Chinese language fluency through intensive Chinese language study, living with a local Chinese roommate, and a full-time Chinese language pledge. Coursework takes place at CET study center based at Capital Normal University, and includes one 9-credit intensive Chinese language course that has students speaking one-on-one with teachers and testing their skills outside the classroom. In this total Chinese immersion in Beijing, students visit historical sites and global headquarters, follow the politics, absorb the culture, and improve their Chinese, ultimately opening doors for anyone pursuing a career that involves China. Organized activities in Beijing provide opportunities for peers to explore China together.
