This study center program examines economic and social development in the context of Vietnam, one of Asia's most dynamic and rapidly changing countries. Students will consider emerging critical issues such as sustainable resource management, intense urbanization, changing family patterns, food systems, and managing integration with global networks and institutions. Students live and study in Ho Chi Minh City and get the opportunity to travel to Hanoi, Vietnam's vibrant, historic capital. In addition to the coursework, students will complete either an internship or independent study project. As a required piece of this program, students will live with a host family in Ho Chi Minh City, immersing themselves in the daily life.
