Program Description:
In this program, facilitated by CIEE, students enroll directly at Yonsei University, a top-ranked Korean University in Seoul. Students are able to take courses from a wide array of subjects in English or Korean, including Intensive Korean language courses at all levels, architecture, business, engineering, computer science, Asian studies and more. From temples to tea fields to museums, there are many organized trips and activities outside of the classroom. In addition to being paired up with local Korean students who serve as social and cultural guides to the city, there are opportunities for volunteering in the community, which could be incorporated into an Immersion Vanderbilt plan. Students choose between on-campus dorms or homestays within 40- to 80-minute commute.
