Program Description:

Malaysia, known for its ethnic, religious, social, economic, and environmental diversity, is a country with a globally dynamic economy. During this program students examine banking, ethics, and finance in a cross-cultural context. Students are based in the capital of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and as part of their comparative learning experience, travel to China then Singapore or Indonesia to explore international relations and global banking in the growing financial centers of Southeast Asia. Courses are taught in English, and students have the choice of studying either Chinese or Bahasa Malaysia. The homestay placement is made based on the student’s language of study. Students end the program by completing an internship or an independent research project.
