Get involved at home and abroad with VISAGE!
VISAGE, the Vanderbilt Initiative for Scholarship and Global Engagement, is a unique program that allows students to experience other places and cultures through both study and direct engagement.
VISAGE participants enjoy a year-long learning sequence beginning in January with a core course at Vanderbilt, followed by a summer service or field-based project abroad, and a seminar, often with a community service component, in the fall semester.
Recent VISAGE programs have included study of ecotourism in Costa Rica, education and social cohesion in South Africa, and access to healthcare in Guatemala.
